Saiph Savage is professor at Northeastern University in Boston where she is the director of the Civic AI Lab. Saiph is also a collaborator in the Civic Innovation Laboratory of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The MIT Technology Review has recognized her as one of the 35 Innovators under 35 years of age.
She is an associate of the Center for Democracy and Technology and the Federation of American Scientists. He has experience collaborating and advising federal and local governments in Latin America and the United States. to adopt human-centered design and artificial intelligence to offer services smarter more effective citizens. His work has been covered by the BBC, The Economist, and the New York Times. Dr. Savage has worked at Microsoft Bing, Intel Labs, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Washington. Saiph has numerous scientific publications and patents. He studied Computer Engineering at UNAM; and a doctorate and master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
